Our Ministries

Worship

Sunday is known as the Lord's Day and is a Christian observance on the first day of the week that commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It is a day set aside for worship and praise of God, study of God's Word (The Holy Bible), spiritual devotion, and, if possible, rest from work.  Our worship services are specifically designed to fulfill God's command to keep the Sabbath holy and worship Him. In the Bible, the book of Hebrews chapter 10 verse 25 tells us not to forsake assembling together. We provide a worship service at 11:00 am with Bible study (Sunday School) at 9:45 am. Our evening worship services start at 6:30pm along with student activities for children and youth.

Bible Study

Study of the Bible is the study of God's Word and essential to a Christians spiritual growth. We encourage everyone to attend Bible study. Bible Study aka Sunday School is offered for all ages from nursery to Senior Adults. Kevin Pyles is our Sunday morning Bible study director.

The youth ministry provides Biblical study, fellowship, and fun under the guidance of loving adult leaders dedicated to the development of our young people. Youth are pressured by many life issues and we provide a safe environment for young people to learn biblical answers for life. Vicki Cross, our children's minister, also leads our youth program. Kyle and Kristy Parker are assisting Vicki by leading the youth on Wednesday nights and plan to help by chaperoning youth activities.

Missions

A vital part of our church is our involvement in missions. We are involved in a variety of ministries that share the love and message of Jesus both local, state, national and international.
We support  Warm Blessings, Helping Hand Ministries, Clarity Pregnancy Center, Gideon's International, and affiliate with the Lincoln  Association of Baptists, the Kentucky Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
Women on Mission (WMU) is an auxiliary group of women of our  church with the purpose of promoting missions. WMU supports our worldwide mission efforts through promoting mission offerings, prayers, personal mission activities and issues a challenge to "go" as a missionary and to do mission work in our own community and beyond. Mrs. Betty Smith is our WMU director.
